Onboarding


Once the account is created in Saleslift Prospector, the next step is to provide your Freshsales account details to complete the onboarding process. 



freshsales email


This is the email that is used to log in to your Freshsales CRM.

  1. Click your Profile picture and select Profile Settings.
  2. Click the Edit Profile tab.
  3. Copy the email address and add it in the onboarding screen



 

freshsales domain


This is the domain with which you login to your CRM. For example, if www.salesliftinc.freshsales.io is your domain, then add 'salesliftinc' to the freshsales domain field in the onboarding screen.


freshsales API Key

  1. Click your Profile picture and select Profile Settings.
  2. Click the API Settings tab.
  3. Copy the API key and add it in the onboarding screen




Adding Custom Fields to import Leads/Contacts


Before starting to update contacts from Saleslift to Freshsales, you must introduce a new custom field for leads and contacts. This field is to indicate the status of email of each contact/lead. If you don't have permission to create custom fields, please contact your CRM administrator to create this field for your CRM account. Follow the below instructions to create the custom field.


Step 1: Go to Admin Settings.




Step 2: Click on Contacts.



Step 3: In Contact Fields, click on Additional Information



Step 4: In Field label, enter 'SL Email Confidence' and set the Field type as Text field. Save the changes and now you are all set to import and update contacts from Saleslift.



Repeat steps 2 to 4 for Leads as well.
